About Our Team

Woods Buckley is a second year MS&E Master’s student through Stanford’s Center for Professional Development. He is also a fulltime employee at Google, where he works in  Enterprise Sales. Previously, Woods worked in demand management at Google Enterprise. Woods has been a surfer and general waterman his entire life. Engine Kites is a natural evolution from his and Coleman’s love of the ocean and watersports.

Woods graduated with a B.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University in 2011, receiving the Dean’s Award for academic excellence.

Megan Lin is a Master’s student in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University. She has previously worked in economic consulting at BBC Research & Consulting and at the Taipei Ministry of Economic Affairs. Her passion lies in Operations Research and is a founding member of the social ticketing startup Ingresse (www.ingresse.com).

Megan received a B.S. in Applied-Mathematics and Economics from Brown University in 2011, and also studied at the London School of Economics

Oliver Riihiluoma is a first year Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. His undergrad career was also spent at Stanford, where he majored in Mechanical Engineering with a Computer Science minor. He was born and raised on the tropical island of Bermuda where he started sailing at the age of ten. He went on to become a member of Stanford’s Varsity Sailing team and represented Stanford at two National Championships. His passion for sailing led him to  start windsurfing and kitesurfing in highschool and his love for the sports has only grown through his college years.
